The RØDE SC6 is an input adaptor that allows you to use two microphones into the single iOS device, as well as connecting headphones for monitoring (with supported apps) or playback.
Common uses for the SC6 include running two smartLav+ microphones for a two-person interview, or an on-camera microphone like the VideoMicro along with a smartLav+.
For iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X you will need a 3.5mm to Lightning adapter to connect this to your phone.
Please note that the SC6 may not connect directly into some iOgrapher cases due to size constraints. In these cases we recommend using the RØDE SC1 extension cable in between the SC6 and your iOS device.
